The farm Frötscherhof is a historic building whose records date back to the 12th century and has been in the property of the same family for over 100 years. Several years ago, the farm was lovingly restored with organic materials and we created 4 comfortable and high-quality holiday apartments for 2-7 persons. Our apartments meet high standards, with natural furniture and natural floors; they have spacious kitchens and bedrooms, a shower/WC and a balcony with breath-taking views of the Isarco Valley and the mountains of the Dolomites.

Organic products at the Frötscherhof
Traditional farm holidays in South Tyrol include, of course, home-made farm products. Every day, you may enjoy fresh and naturally organic quality products directly from the farm Frötscherhof, such as fresh cow's milk, homemade yoghurt, free range eggs, delicious jams and many other farm products. On request, we also prepare a personal breakfast basket with fresh bread and home-made products, and we deliver it every morning to your apartment door. Whole-wheat bread rolls made from our own organic cereals are baked at the farm Frötscherhof. Spelt fields are growing at the farm Frötscherhof since 2013.

Especially for the children, a farm holiday is a unique adventure, in the open nature there is always something to discover and the many farm animals want to be cuddled and cared for. The new natural swimming pond – right next to the farm – offers an ideal refreshment when the temperatures are rising. Our small guests may also enjoy our private playground with a variety of play equipment. There is no space for boredom during a farm holiday.

Wellness & spa in the heart of nature
Our natural swimming pond, right next to the farm, and the new cabin sauna are in a very quiet location and open to our guests all year round.
The pond offers welcome refreshing moments right in our private garden. A swimming pond is therefore a real highlight all year round – especially if you like Kneipp therapies. Yes, during the colder season, the cabin sauna by the pond, offers a true oasis of well-being. The panoramic view over the Isarco Valley reaches as far as the eye can see. Just enjoy and linger. The pond also offers the opportunity to use it as a plunge pool for the passionate sauna fans in summer and in winter. The small barefoot path at the pond lets you feel with all your senses. The infrared cabin on the veranda with relaxation room leaves nothing to be desired.

Your hosts
at the farm Frötscherhof
Anna and Sepp have three sons, all of whom are still studying. All of them regularly come home and help at the farm. They were born with a positive attitude towards agriculture. It’s still not clear which one of them will take over the farm Frötscherhof as a young farmer.
Grandma Traudl is the beekeeper at the farm Frötscherhof. Our guests may enjoy her delicious honey for breakfast.

Summer vacation at the farm Frötscherhof
Enjoy a vacation in harmony with nature! Picking berries, harvesting hay, gathering potato, working in the stable – there is always something going on.
And for peace seekers? Simply unwind, just relax in front of the house: lawn, deck chair, fireplace, barbecue area and much more. Rest and relaxation – without boredom. A paradise for children, recreation seekers and nature lovers, hikers and mountaineers.
Meluno or S. Andrea are the ideal starting points for many hikes. The local mountain of Bressanone – the "Plose" – offers a wide network of alpine meadows and thus makes the ski area a popular destination even in the summer.
Winter holidays in the South Tyrolean mountains
The ski area Mount Plose only a few minutes from the farm Frötscherhof and offers perfect conditions for your winter holidays in South Tyrol: Winter visitors may enjoy snowshoeing, tobogganing, cross-country skiing, ski touring, skiing, snow hiking, ice skating.
- The toboggan run RudiRun 2 on Mount Plose is the longest toboggan run in the Southern Alps and has a length of 11 km.
- At the farm Frötscherhof you have the opportunity to take a walk amid the beautiful winter landscape, build a snowman, go ice skating or play ice hockey directly at the farm.
- The ski area Mount Plose is just 1.5 km from our farm.
- Plose Ski Area - 6 km from the episcopal city of Bressanone, where an unforgettable sports and nature experience awaits you!
